Do I Need To Send A Thank You Note For A Hostess Gift?
Did you receive a hostess gift this holiday season? Wondering if you need to send a thank you note? You did invite them over, possibly cook and clean, isn't the gift for all that? Maybe so but YES you do need to send thank you note. A gift is exactly that, not a given, and deserves a proper thank you.
Thank your guest for their presence and their present. Hand written notes are becoming less and less common. Show your class to the very finish:
*A thank you note for a gift should be handwritten.
*Mention your gift and how you plan to use it.
*Thank them for attending your party and how much you enjoyed their company.
*Use pretty stationary or cards, stamp it, and mail it.
*It is never to late to send a thank you note!
*Your guest will remember you and your consideration after your event is over.
